Then a few months later I read <a href="http://www.itsnotforthecock.co.uk/2008/09/14/its-not-for-the-cock-its-for-coming-up-roses/" rel="nofollow">this great interview</a>, in which she talks about the cover artwork and the mythology behind the magpie. OK, now I want to know which site Jo clicked on and what she saw.

As for magpies… my scavenging eye was caught exactly one year ago today by this cover art for Rose Kemp’s Unholy Majesty album. Then a few months later I read this great interview, in which she talks about the cover artwork and the mythology behind the magpie.
