ME2 / The Word – COMPILATIONS
This week we’ve got a some songs that have appeared on various compilations. Firstly, “Fantasist In March”, taken from the new album, features on this months free CD that comes along with The Word magazine. Also this week, last night Medway Eyes released the second installment of their ME collection, which features a live version of “Lest We Connect The Crooked Family”, recorded at The Bar Below in Folkstone earlier this year. ME2 is a free downloadable compilation which gives you the option of donating money, all of which Medway Eyes will give directly to Oxjam. ME2 features many of the great artists and current bands from the Medway Towns including Theatre Royal, The Flowing, The Shagmonroes, Didi Bergman and lots more. You can download your copy by heading over to Medway Eyes.
Have a good weekend weirdo’s . . . love Lupen Crook.

For all the fellow Crooked collectors / completists / train-spotters out there, I’ve added a Compilations section at the bottom of the Releases page.
If anyone can help with more info on the “unknown” compilations (plus any others we’ve missed), that would be great… particularly whatever it was that included the early track The Folk Singer.
thinking about misc. tracks there’s the eyes wide shut single. what was on the fight folk demo? i saw a picture of the cover on jenny’s site

Oh yeah, it was released on a dubstep label by Markomen. I’ll find out details, nice one. x
Nice one Joe… Eyes Wide Shut Ya Mouth details here, but they should also go somewhere on the releases page.
The Fight Folk demo was mid-2008, as far as I recall… I think it was mostly stuff that was eventually released as the Great Fears & Curious Predictions EP. CroOK…?
